I'm expecting my 4th child so am having to sell my c-max as it doesn't have 7 seats. But I do so with a tear - it's been a wonderful drive, and served me and my family well. Build is great, drive is great. ALl round good buy.

Hey dadof4, I'm expecting my FIRST child soon ad though about getting this. Is it too big do you think for just one baby?

Matt, do yourself a favour and take one for a test ride. I tried one out the other day and wasn't that impressed. It's roomy I'll give it that, but the front end feels small and the brakes were terrible. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm used to driving something smaller. I just didn't gel with it at all. Good luck with the baby -= sleepless nights coming up :-)

I've just bought a 2004 Focus c_max. 1.6 tdci, automatic. Hesitant about the gearbox at first but now totally smitten with the car. Spacious, easy to drive. Under £4k for a 04 model. A lot of car for the money.

Stay away from this car! It's terrible. Had a 1.6 Auto tdci for a little over 3 weeks now and it's been in the garage for half that time with a problem - the thing loses power for no reason at 70 on the motorway!!!! Awful awful car!

If you're having kids anytime soon and you want a maxi-cosi isofix base forget this car!!! Waste of time. We bought it but can't fit the easyfix or isofix base in the car because of the false floor in the rear footwells!
